Local Energy Experts

Genuinely Local

Central Spark Victoria is a genuine ‘bricks and mortar’ renewable energy technology and installation business, based in Castlemaine, Victoria. Effectively servicing Bendigo to Creswick, Gisborne to Maldon,  Maryborough to Lancefield

We employ our own:

  • Registered electricians
  • Qualified solar installers
  • Apprentices, who we are proud to train

We gladly give support, in time and money, to:

  • Main FM
  • Mt Alexander Falcons
  • Castlemaine Football and Netball Club
  • Nalderun Education Aboriginal Corporation

How We Work

Upon commencement of their employment, all our employees complete the following courses:

  • Working Safely in the Solar Industry
  • Working Safely at Heights

Safety equipment such as roof rails, scaffolding, harnesses and protective clothing are a key aspect of keeping our team and customers safe.

Working with local business

We actively purchase from local business, if the business exists. This might mean, for example, choosing a local printer (rather than a nationwide, online service) or shopping at the local hardware store.

Ethics in business

Unashamedly, we strive to be ethical in our business practices, because we believe that a business should earn its social license to operate.

  • recycling everything possible, into glass, cans, plastics, metals.
  • full logbook servicing an all company vehicles
  • comprehensive staff wellbeing policy
  • pricing policy, structured to keep us in business well beyond our installation warranty period
  • sufficient administration support to handle regulatory paperwork and back end support
  • A First Nations policy
  • commitment to using genuinely well established solar distribution networks
  • and an all-round, decent employer approach. For example, during the Covid-19 crisis, we kept on all our staff and provided additional training rather than laying off staff.
  • active encouragement for all staff to attend industry trade events.
